Tis the season to be jolly and you’re probably already feeling the panic of organising Christmas, not just for home but for the office. This year, when you’re sending out Christmas cards to family and friends, don’t forget your corporate clients…and here’s why.
The fact of the matter is that it doesn’t matter how many people you meet, you will be forgotten soon enough. Whilst regular marketing emails are great for avoiding the ‘out of sight, out of mind’ problem, a Christmas card is another way of saying ‘hello’ in a personal manner that ensure people spare a thought for your business!
With the expansive nature of businesses and the ease of comparison websites and competitive pricing, it is the little things that go the extra mile in business. Whilst that means more than just outstanding service and reaching out to people, merry well wishes let your clients know that you spare a thought for them and helps build rapport.
Sending your clients a Christmas card lets you mention how you might be helpful to them in the future. Don’t give the hard sell but do include your company’s details. In an E-card, social logos should link to your website and social media to be contacted on for customer ease. Posting a Christmas card is a lot more personal and gives you a chance to mention that you hope to do business again in the new year!
