April is here and, if you live in London, you probably made the most of the warmer weather by seeing the Cambridge V Oxford boat race…and, if you didn’t, then you spent it watching the goat race instead! (We approve). Whilst spring is springing, we thought we’d investigate what London’s got in store for us this month to keep us out and about!
We can’t very well write an Easter ‘things to do’ without including Easter! Most local parks have an Easter egg hunt for the family and there are plenty of national parks to stroll around in the sunshine after the Easter Sunday lunch! If you’re looking for something a little more then try a chocolate making workshop or head to somewhere like Drink, Shop and Do for a craft session!
The popular event strikes London again to caffeinate us with delicious blends and interesting flavours of coffee! If you’re into latte art, you’ll already know that some of the world’s best baristas will be there, along with new and exciting coffee brands, ready to feed London a cup of the good stuff. If you’re buzzed up enough to try something more hands-on then be sure to step into one of the workshops and learn how to make the perfect coffee!
While the weather is nice, be sure to visit some of the best National parks that London has to offer. We have a list of suggestions! For a good long walk, some deer sightings and a spot of lunch in a café, try Richmond Park. If it’s really sunny, walk to the North West area of the park for home made ice cream and a stroll around Poet’s Corner. Kew Gardens is another beautiful good-weather option for a walk! Hampstead Heath is also great, especially if you want a quiet spot for picnics!
If you have any suggestions, do let us know!
