The London weather is hotting up so we thought we’d bring you the latest events to keep you and your family outdoors, enjoying the summer, this weekend!
This weekend, more than 200 gardens that are not usually open to the public will be opened for the weekend. The gardens range from allotments to rooftop terraces and great pieces of land. You will be able to enjoy the gardens through many activities such as walking, cycling, trails, garden tours and some arts and poetry events. To see what’s still available to book, see their website here.
This Saturday, Marylebone will stop all traffic to throw a street party. Enjoy an outdoor pop-up cinema showing ‘The Big Lebowski’ and live jazz music from the Royal Academy. There will be plenty of food and drink throughout the stalls, along with other entertainment and activities such as craft stalls, massage stalls, dance and sports events and beauty stalls. There will also be a petting zoo and a fun fair so, with something for everyone, it’s bound to be a wonderful family event.
Caledonian Road will host their yearly festival this Sunday, a free event that features lots of live performances from live music, dance performances, street theatre and storytelling. Along with the live entertainment, there will be plenty of other activities to keep families busy, such as arts and crafts, food and drink and a ‘learning zone’. There will be a photo exhibition of the area throughout the years, fairground rides and lots of hands-on activities to participate in so don’t miss it!
Get your family and get outside this weekend!
